To activate a licence in NowSignage, first log in to your NowSignage account and open the relevant project. From the project dashboard, navigate to the Screens area, where you will see a list of all screens associated with that project.
⚠️ Please Note: This guide demonstrates how to add or configure content on one screen.

After you have created your screens, assign a licence by selecting the screen and clicking the ‘Activate’ button:
Once you click 'Activate’, a pop-up window will appear showing all licences currently available for your account and project. From this list, select the specific licence you want to assign to the chosen screen, then click ‘Activate licence and show PIN’. This confirms the assignment of that licence to the screen and progresses you to the PIN display step.
This action applies the licence to your selected screen, links it to your NowSignage project, and generates a unique PIN for that screen. You’ll need this PIN to activate the NowSignage player on your chosen hardware. Once you enter the PIN on the device, the hardware is securely registered to your account and can begin playing your scheduled content.
On your Screens dashboard, you will now see a clear expiry and renewal date for the licence assigned to that screen.
