How To Delete a Project

If you wish to remove a project that is no longer needed, whether due to changes in your organisation's needs, the completion of a specific initiative, or simply a desire to declutter your workspace, please follow the steps outlined below. Taking the time to properly remove obsolete projects will help maintain an organised and efficient account, ensuring that your current projects and resources are easily accessible.

 

Steps to delete a project:


1. Start by logging into your NowSignage account and locating the project you intend to remove.

2. The next step is to then remove any screens, schedules, playlists and content from this project.

NOTE: You will not be able to delete a project until step 2 has been actioned.

An error message will appear if you try to delete the project while it is still in use.

3. After ensuring the project is completely empty, click on the NowSignage logo located in the top left corner to return to your project dashboard area.

4. You can now click on the delete icon (bin icon) on the right of the project to delete it from your account.

Please note: If you have a screen with an active licence (this includes any trial licences)

This action will need to be removed by our orders team (orders@nowsignage.com)

Once the licence is removed from the screen you will be able to delete it.
