Receive email notifications when your screen(s) go offline to stay informed about the status of your digital signage displays. This feature is essential for maintaining consistent visibility of your content to your audience. Setting up email notifications alerts you quickly if any screens go offline, enabling immediate action to resolve issues. This proactive approach reduces downtime and improves the effectiveness of your digital signage network, ensuring consistent and reliable messaging to your audience.
Step 1.
Activating the Notification Centre App:
Once logged into your NowSignage account begin by going to the 'Apps' area of the platform:
- When you have entered the apps area, scroll down to find the 'Notification Centre' app, click into this app and activate it:
Step 2.
Create a notification group
A 'notification group' is a group of screens you wish to set up email notifications for. To set this up, simply click '+Add Notification Group':
Provide a name for your notification group, check the box below to activate it, and specify the days and times during which you would like to receive notifications.
Additionally, you have the option to customise several other settings:
- Initial Threshold (in minutes) - This defaults at 0 minutes (so will send an instant alert if left at the default, or you can set this to send a notification after a set number of minutes)
- Send subsequent notifications - Tick this box if you wish to send repeat notifications if the screens continue to be offline
- Subsequent Threshold (in minutes) - If you have checked this option, please specify the duration in minutes for when you would like subsequent notifications to be sent to you via email. Note that this duration must be set to at least 5 minutes.
After reviewing your settings, scroll down to the 'Screens' section, where you can easily search or filter your screens. You can also select 'All' to apply your notification settings to every screen in your project.
Next, enter the email addresses for receiving notifications in the 'Email Notification To' field. This field supports multiple email entries.
Note: After typing each address, press the enter key on your keyboard to confirm that it is added successfully.
Click 'Save' to apply your settings and activate email alerts as configured.
Please note - All email alerts will come from noreply@nowsignage.com. If you do not receive them, please check your email firewall to ensure it allows traffic from this address.

Q. Are there any logs of a screens connections you can download?
A. No. The notification app is the only available method of monitoring and viewing the screen statuses.
