NowSignage's Screen Sync functionality enables users to create immersive full-screen takeovers across synchronised displays, delivering a cohesive visual experience
With NowSignage's Screen Sync functionality, users can create immersive full-screen takeovers across synchronised displays, presenting a unified visual experience. This feature is designed to capture and engage the audience's attention by transforming standard content into captivating presentations.
Important: Before proceeding with this guide, please ensure you have followed the instructions on How to Set Up Screen Sync.
**Example of Screen Sync Takeover:**
Here is a step-by-step guide to achieving a synchronised full-screen takeover:
For this demonstration, we will configure three portrait screens to display content in unison.
To ensure the content is properly aligned across these screens, start by calculating the total pixel dimensions of the combined displays:
**Dimension Calculation:**
For three portrait screens, each with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the overall aspect ratio will be 3240 pixels in width and 1920 pixels in height:
- Total Width = 3 x 1080 = 3240 pixels
- Height = 1920 pixels
Thus, the combined resolution of all three screens will be:
**3240 (width) x 1920 (height)**
How To set up this configuration:
- Create your video with a resolution of 3240 x 1920 pixels. Once the video is complete, divide it into three segments, each corresponding to one screen, resulting in three individual video files at 1080 x 1920 pixels (one-third of the original video for each screen).
- Next, create three separate playlists for the 'left', 'middle', and 'right' screens. The NowSignage application will synchronise the playback of these videos across all screens, ensuring they play simultaneously and providing a seamless and cohesive viewing experience.
